Lucy Love Dove

In honor of the sweet, young dove I rescued last night and took to a wildlife rehab friend—Lucy or Lucilla (Latin for “light”)—because I wanted her to see the morning instead of be in mourning. She’s suffering from neurological damage (not sure if she was hit by a car or maybe ran into something? I found her in the middle of the street while on a bike ride), but she was eating/drinking/pooping on her own this morning, so that’s a hop in the right direction.
